So this year I was on the pre-convention Seminar before Fourth Street. Despite covering professionalism, voice, and critique in 3 separate discussions, we barely got through half of the things we had notes for, which is about par for the course. So here are some notes on one of the topics we didn't get to.

I enjoyed Fourth Street Fantasy a great deal this year, as I always do, despite having to wrestle with the gnawing anxiety that I had screwed up programming and had ruined my favorite con for everyone. I have since been assured at length ( Read more... )

I know a lot of folks have prior commitments or other reasons why they might not be able to attend this year, but Fourth Street Fantasy Convention is coming up in just over a month, and I'm helping with programming - which means that we'll be trying to avoid the failure states I discussed in last month's post on panels. Seriously, though - great con, great conversations (and rather more of them than last year, so hurray for that), and a really great music circle.
